About Chef's Night:
🔸 After a short winter break, Chef's Night resumes with a special guest appearance by renowned Croatian chef Mario Mihelj.
🔸 Mario is currently the Executive Chef of the Zagreb-based restaurants Maredo and El Toro, and he has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants such as 360 Dubrovnik and Dubravkin Put in Zagreb.
🔸 He is recognized as one of the leading young chefs with significant experience, and this year he served as a judge on the Croatian MasterChef.
Wine Pairing:
Each dish will be paired with premium wines from Atelje Vina Šapat (www.sapat.rs), a rising star on the Balkan wine scene. Several of their labels have already earned gold at Decanter, and we are thrilled to showcase their wines on February 14th.

- Crunchy Praline of Cod Bianco with spicy cherry tomato jam and green charmoula
Wine proposal: Bianca / Yellow Muscat
First course:
- Hamachi Tartare with ponzu dressing, togarashi sprinkle, tapioca cracker, and black tobiko
Wine proposal: Chardonnay Single Vineyard
Second course:
- Large Gnudi with caramelized cream, miso paste, crushed hazelnuts, and basil oil
Wine proposal: Atila Chardonnay
Third course:
- Large Gyoza with marinated pork belly in Asian style, spring onion, and pickled shiitake mushrooms
Wine proposal: Magnus / Cabernet Sauvignon 50% & Merlot 50%
Fourth course:
- Lamb Fillet in a green herb crust, smoked Jerusalem artichoke cream, glazed celery, and thyme demi-glace
Wine proposal: Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
Fifth course:
- Salenjak No. 2 with pastry cream, glazed pears, orange, and candied pumpkin seeds
Wine proposal: Bianca / Yellow Muscat
