About us

Traditional restaurant “KERO” in Rozaje, three decades of experience is also a story of the rhythm of Rozaje bazaar. Along the river Ibar, close to the center of the town and yet sheltered from noise and crowd, national restaurant Kero is settled. On a place where caravan roads have been crossed for centuries, we can found this witness of beginning and emerging of special culture. It is a story about rhythm of Rozaje city and family values that have been transmitted from generation to generation and that has been saved from transience and oblivion. Restaurant Kero doesn’t only impress the tourists willing to enrich their travels with something new and different, this charming place is also favorite among people born in Rozaje streets. Opened three decades ago (1989), Kero who’s image from the beginning was focused on traditional barbecue meals and irresistible Kero’s kebabs that with its specific aroma bring the same lezet and scent of tradition up until modern days. Rozaje kebab’s, veal, sudzhuk, chicken, homemade sour milk, cheese, salads, tufahia…found their place in the restaurant Menu which emerged carefully during many years. A good eye for details will tell that nothing is accidental in this restaurant. Needlework, copper, wood, scent of domestic spices…the time has stopped at restaurant “Kero” on those beautiful old days that we remember with great joy. And that’s not all, the walls of the restaurant are decorated by original work of art, oil paintings on canvas that are signed by academic artist Selver Kardovic.
