We walked into this restaurant half-expecting nothing special and walked out completely sold. Light, casual dining by the water, exactly the kind of spot you hope to find when you’re traveling.
Our waiter Milan made the whole night. He built the meal around a fresh fish he encouraged us to try, pairing it with these massive, ridiculously good tomatoes and some of the best bread we’ve had in terms of both taste and texture. We went with the sea bass and it showed up two ways. First as ceviche—black truffle shavings, lemon and lime, salt, olive oil. Simple on paper, but it hit so clean and was mouth wateringly delicious.
The main kept the same energy: grilled sea bass, barely dressed, just enough marinade to let the fish itself do the talking.
Milan wouldn’t let us leave without trying the apple pie. Soft, not overly sweet, perfect last bite.
Sitting outside with the water right there and live music adding to the ambience, it turned into one of our favourite evenings of our whole European trip, in addition to one of the best meals we’ve ever had (with no exaggeration). Absolutely loved it and would be back every night if we lived there.
