Among the many historical, cultural, and emotional symbols, Gradska Kafana hotel&restaurant holds a key place in the social dimension of Cetinje. In such a monumental city, our Gradska has been a cult gathering place for decades and one of the main witnesses to the diverse events on the Dvorski Trg of the Montenegrin Capital. From the family house of Duke Ivo Radonjić, this building was first adapted for the needs of the Bulgarian embassy until the rupture of diplomatic relations between the two states during the Balkan Wars. It was then used for various purposes until the 1970s when it officially became the famous Gradska Kafana. The path to today's five-star boutique hotel, which, after less than a year of opening, received a sustainability certificate in tourism, is just a natural progression. Located right next to King Nikola's Palace, Gradska has undergone a transformation from a tavern to a restaurant with a garden and a boutique hotel, which operates entirely according to the highest global standards, as befits a unique hospitality establishment in the royal city.
